EGA Shanghai, which is a subsidiary of EGA now has a job opening for Electrical Engineer, with following responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Implement reliability improvement initiatives for smelting production lines electrical systems.
- Develop and execute preventive & predictive maintenance strategies to maximise availability and lifetime of critical electrical assets in the potlines.
- Prepare technical specifications, scope of work and supervise installation, commissioning and start-up of new or retrofitted electrical equipment.
- Analyse failures, perform root-cause investigations and prepare technical reports with recommendations for design or operational improvements.
- Facilitate communication between EGA teams and Chinese suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience in aluminium smelting or non-ferrous metallurgy is preferred.
- English proficiency, both verbal and written, is a must.
- Willing to travel.
