Responsibilities:

· Leads supplier assessment, development, and performance. Serves as the primary point of contact for PCBA supplier quality and delivery-related issues.

· Leads PCBA supplier development and ensures adherence to client’s requirements, including new product initiatives, supplier onboarding, supplier changes, and product cost-out support.

· Supports client for the development and implementation of prototype boards and test systems with internal and external suppliers to ensure client’s requirements are met.

· Drive supplier excellence consistent with client’s strategy for supplier qualifications, performance monitoring, corrective action, and continuous improvement.

· Provides guidance and direction to suppliers through a combination of education, personal knowledge, and experiences, as well as through partners. Expertise includes Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) processes, troubleshooting, IPC-A-610 and other applicable standards

· Ensures suppliers meet committed costs and timelines, including timely submission of part samples, PPAP, NPI and mass production

· Leveraging APQP, PPAP, risk-based process audits, CTQ monitoring, and ongoing performance monitoring tools to ensures suppliers adhere to industry best practices, standards, and test processes, as well as client’s specifications where applicable

· Initiate value engineering, DOE, and KAIZEN events with suppliers to improve part cost, quality, and performance. Leads improvement projects with suppliers, including materials, machines, tooling, and process controls in support of product and process robustness.

Qualifications:

· Fluent in local language and English.

· B.S. in Engineering (or equivalent combination of experience and education) in Electrical (EE or EET), Mechanical (ME or MET), or Industrial (IE, IET).

· 8-10 years of related of work experience.

· Knowledge and experience with industry best practices and standards for PCBA design and manufacturing processes

· Experience with printed circuit board assembly including through hole and surface mount technology and PCBA test.

· Experience implementing lean manufacturing and/or six sigma desirable.
Work Location: Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi，ningbo area and remote work and so on.
