EGA Shanghai, which is a subsidiary of EGA now has a job opening for Mechanical Engineer, with following responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Own the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment on the aluminium smelting production line, including daily operation management, routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and technical upgrade proposals.
- Participate in failures analysis, overhaul and life-cycle management of critical assets.
- Develop maintenance schedules and ensure strict execution.
- Support the installation, commissioning and start-up of equipment for new lines or revamp projects.
- Facilitate communication between EGA teams and Chinese suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience in aluminium smelting or non-ferrous metallurgy is preferred.
- English proficiency, both verbal and written, is a must.
- Willing to travel.
