2. JOB PURPOSE:
To identify, quantify, document and monitor domain specific (Mechanical or Civil & Structural or Electrical or Control & Instrumentation) EGA Maintenance Assets’ & their Systems’ over their life cycle. Support achievement of domain specific strategic goals maximizing asset value realization & optimizing long term sustainability in systematic, holistic, responsible, predictable and continually improving manner.
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Asset Risk Assessment & Management
? Carry out or work along with contractor on asset integrity assessment projects of Mechanical or Civil/Structural or Electrical or Instrumentation physical assets in line with EGA, regulatory & legislative and API RP581 & ISO55001 requirements & methodology.
? Carry out domain specific Risk Assessments using RCM, FMEA, FMCEA methodologies in line with Risk Assessment guidelines.
? Perform risk ranking in line with API 580 guidelines. Prepare and track risks identified through risk management process for appropriate follow up on actions & closures.
Asset Knowledge Management:
? Document and maintain up to date domain specific asset details from acquisition to disposal.
? Prepare and submit reports of asset status (operation and maintenance details, location, performance, management support requirement, etc.) to maintenance/operation management by means of reliable Asset Performance Management tool(s).
? Co-ordinate with area maintenance, operation and planning & reliability teams to understand and document the configurational changes needed for assets.
Asset Planning, Performance Monitoring & Control:
? Carry out surveys / inspections/periodic checks on non-production registered assets as per defined plan.
? Verify adherence to maintenance strategy plan for each registered asset and report the findings.
Asset Replacement:
? Assess asset condition with respect to its useful life and advise on replacement/refurbishment plan.
Asset Integrity Management:
? Assess asset performance, regulatory requirements and compliances and report asset integrity.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
? Work in line with approved Asset Management procedures.
? Support Lead Engineer to conduct Audit & Assure that area operation & maintenance teams have comprehensive understanding and adherence to Asset Management Policy, Strategy, Objectives & Plans. Take corrective actions in case of variances.
? Maintain documentation required for ISO 55001 and verify the compliance.
CAPEX Budget and Financial Performance
? Support Lead engineer to manage and execute Asset Integrity CAPEX planning and projects
? Execute CAPEX projects in planned manner for timely and within budget completion
People Management
? Manage contractors to ensure seamless execution of assigned jobs safely and in a cost- efficient manner.
Collaboration and Networking
? Collaborates with area operation, maintenance and supply chain to provide excellent asset integrity management support.
? Communicates and Co-ordinates with asset integrity management peers across the two sites to develop synergies within the organization.
Continuous Improvement
? Actively participate in continuous improvement through adopting different innovative approaches to address problems & opportunities and sharing best practices across the organization to achieve excellent asset performance.
? Contribute to business excellence initiatives such as Najah, Tamayaz, Suggestion Scheme, Kaizen, RCM Projects, etc. to improve safety, cost, system effectiveness and productivity.

? Comply to all relevant EGA Safety, Health and Environment Management policies, procedures, controls and requirements.
? Ensure contractor or contracted employees’ adherence to EGA EHS Policies & Procedure and Legislative Requirements.
? Adheres to all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental management policies, standards (OHSAS 18001 (HS), ISO 9001:2015 (Q) & ISO 14001:2015 (E)), procedures and practices to guarantee employee/visitor/contractor safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.

Performs other related duties or assignments as desired by Lead Engineer.

Authority
? Job holder uses the authority as defined in EGA delegation of authority and complies with company’s policies and procedures to accomplish assigned responsibilities.

? Work complements the vision of Lead Engineer & overall EGA Strategic Goals to decide the asset requirement to achieve the expected end results.
5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation /Industrial) of Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
? Membership of relevant International Professional Association.
Experience
? At least 8 years of all-encompassing Maintenance, Asset Management and Planning & Reliability experience in Heavy Industrial Equipment Environment Preferably Smelting with minimum 3 year in Asset Management.
? Position holder to have a fair understanding of Asset Information, Risk Assessment, Configuration Management & Disposal.
? Knowledge of ISO 55001.
Skills
? Knowledge of Aluminium Smelting Assets & their Maintenance Requirements
? Knowledge of Centralized Maintenance Management System (SAP)
? Knowledge of engineering practices, standards, processes and configuration management
? Knowledge in Implementation process of ISO 55001
