MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB工作主要目標(biāo)
-As mechanical engineer will typically be a product specialist in creation of new products and maintaining existing products under guidance of Engineering manager/leader.
-Responsibilities involve execution of tasks to achieve compliance to the product requirements specifications, fitness for purpose, legislative and regulatory standards and product safety and reliability.
- Support marketing, operations and aftermarket technical questions and issues related to existing products.

Education/ Experience教育和經(jīng)驗
- Bachelor/Master degree level in a relevant engineering science discipline, with preference to Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of mechanical design work experience.
- Experience and knowledge on key technologies in the design of mechanical machinery ideally relating to weighing products.
- Be familiar with related mechanical drawing standards, manufacturing process, workshop assembly and on-site installation.
- Be proficient in using computer software in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, Microsoft Office.
- Be proficient in using ERP systems such as SAP and PDM systems.
- Experienced in leading/conducting design FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).

The job holder will be working with other engineers and staff as part of a world wider group/team. Therefore, good written and spoken English and interpersonal skills are essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES主要責(zé)任
- Develop new weighing products, make design drawings and carry out testing for weighing products.
- Conduct market research with sales in order to develop the right product fit to the local market demand.
- Design optimization for existing products to enhance quality, functionality and/or reduce costs.
- Testing prototype products for functionality, ease-of-use, and longevity.
- Root cause analysis and provide technical solutions for product issues.
- Drive and build up the knowledge and competence of weighing product, application etc. to increase the reliability and keep the competitiveness in the market.
- Carry out standardization approach and design to cost, redesign drawings and select the suitable tolerance and surface treatment.
- Overseeing the production process, make inhouse manufacturing drawings by using the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) approach for existed products.
- Routinely review fleet history on our products, performing statistical analysis and simulations to continuously monitor lifetime robustness of our products.
- Presenting product designs to management and stakeholders
- Supporting product launch initiatives and maintaining reliability aspects of our products throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Creating updates to technical documentation such as installation and operation manuals as necessary.
