Position: Indirect Materials & Services Purchasing Member - Technical Supplies / China
What we offer
1. Responsibility for Technical Supplies Indirect Material and Services sourcing and sourcing process support
2. Engagement of stakeholders in Operations/Legal/Finance team, to steer sourcing projects leading to cost reduction, value creation, optimal timeline/quality and risk mitigation
3. Work with Global and Regional Purchasing team to define and execute sourcing strategies to maximize Key Performance Indicator (KPI) performance, manage supplier performance and best leverage the supply base, industry insights and innovations from the markets
4. Ensure governance and compliance of source-to-pay process with clear documentation and in line with global/regional policies and tools, providing and implementing process improvement ideas where feasible
5. Support the local and regional sourcing team on sourcing projects (e.g. analytics, contract management and other administrative tasks)
Who we are looking for
1. Min 2 years working experience – preferably in Sourcing. Experience in engineering or related job would also be considered
2. University Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Business preferred
3. Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English and Mandarin required
4. Self-driven with strong analytical thinking, process mindset and conceptual skills
5. Good knowledge of purchasing practices and contract management
6. Good communication skills with influencing and convincing abilities
7. Strong project and time management skills
8. Team player attitude
9. Experience with Microsoft Office required. Experience with procurement systems such as SAP Ariba would be advantageous.
10. Good knowledge of China Technical Supplies (civil construction, equipment etc.) supply base and general industry information would be advantageous
