Objective
? Use your creativity to create new visual experiences and innovative ideas that will shake up the world and disruptindustries.
? Create stunning, fresh, innovative and inspiring real-time graphics & effects that push the DNA of Mercedes-Benz & Joint Venture brand to the next level.
? Create and turn exciting visuals into reality and push the boundaries of 3D graphics and interaction with creative solutions in the Automotive industry.
Tasks
? Create technical design solution for in-car UI implementation and prototype systems (openGl ES, GLSL, unity, unreal, substance designer)
? Design & conceptualize the ideal holistic 3D user experience for mobility
? Keep track of UI/UX 3D trends and latest developments + identify impact on our work
? Align market specific designs & solutions with worldwide counterparts
? Help guide & manage external design agencies & suppliers
Qualification:
? Bachelor’s/Master's degree in digital art/media/game design, computer graphics or related fields.
? 3+ years of professional experience in creative agency, IT or automotive company, video games industry or similar enterprises
? Excellent realt-time visual programming and/or game engine skills proven by an outstanding portfolio (Materials, shaders, Effects examples etc.)
? Creative thinking and strong collaboration & team work spirit
? Sufficient English communication skills (Chinese or German are a plus)
? Proficient in 3D engines such as Unity or Unreal and systems like shader/fx graph, blueprints or substance designer.
? Ability work proactively, conduct self-guided work and learn new tools
? Preferred additional qualifications: Knowledge with 2D and 3D design tools such as Figma/Sketch, Photoshop, After Effects, Protopie/ Protopie Connect, Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, 3DS Max etc.. Enthusiasm for or professional experience with video gaming or AR/VR. A fun personality or interesting hobbies...
