- Job Description SummaryLeads the factory Maintenance team in the planning and implementation of initiatives that maintain and improve the reliability, effectiveness, and/or efficiency of equipment, technical infrastructure, production lines, and/or facilities. Develops and implements equipment life cycle management procedures for optimizing costs and profitability.
- Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities
- Proposes and manages the annual maintenance budget by monitoring the costs and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and determining actions to cost issues as necessary.
- Defines maintenance policies and processes that drive maximum efficiency of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
- Develops and implements life cycle management procedures for all new and existing equipment.
- Develops and proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
- Defines maintenance plans for new production lines and recommends methods to improve reliability, ongoing maintenance, and safety of equipment, in collaboration with the Engineering department.

- Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.
- Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.
Collaboration / Leadership- Promotes and enables collaboration in the division, across divisions, business areas, and teams to maximize results for ABB.
- Provides guidance to the teams and seeks knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams.
- Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.
- Ensures that their own area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
- Inspires, guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies.
- Builds effective, competent, and high-performing teams.
- Reviews organizational effectiveness and performs competence assessments and continuous skill upgrades.
